| BRS Challenge during Victoria BID Campaign Following a successful BID campaign and although the overall vote was in favour of Victoria BID, Ruth Dunston presented evidence at the November GLA meeting that 39 hereditaments had advised her, that they had changed from ‘yes’ votes to ‘no’ votes after receiving their BRS prospectus and rates valuation in the middle of the balloting process. These included large companies and therefore could affect a number of BIDs across London if they changed their policy on BID memberships. This shows how the controversy over BRS will continue to affect the BID constituency.
