8. Demonstration projects

Has a range of tangible projects been delivered to demonstrate credibility and reputation for the partnership?

Up to 18 months before ballot

Identify the various projects delivered and measure the success of these
Do these projects serve to provide partial or full solutions to the per ceived ‘need’ and can they continue without additional funding? If yes, consider whether a BID is still the appropriate solution
Are further projects planned for the BID development phase? If yes, be sure to consider all resourcing implications and do not overburden staff during a very resource intensive period
It is useful to undertake some low-value high-impact projects to be able to demonstrate to the business community what could be delivered
A method of communicating these projects to the businesses is also vital
